Hi, I’m Amy— the face behind Aurora June Photography🤍
I’m a proud mum of three, a wife, and a country girl at heart living on a small holding in Lathom Lancashire. Life in our house is busy, a little chaotic, full of laughter, and completely led by love — which is probably why I adore weddings so much.
My business name is incredibly special to me. It’s a combination of my daughter’s name and my mum’s — two of the most important people in my world. So what I do isn’t just a job, it’s something rooted in family, love, and meaning.
I’m also definitely an emotional person. I get completely invested in people, in connection, and in the little things that matter most… so when those speeches start, I will absolutely be crying right along with you (happy tears, always! )
My approach
I’m known for being bubbly, calm, and easy to be around — even when timelines get a little wild!
On your wedding day, I’m so much more than just your photographer. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, fix your veil, hold your bouquet, calm your nerves, and have a laugh with you along the way. My couples often say it feels like having a friend there — and that’s exactly how I want it to be.
I’ll also take care of the structure when it’s needed. When it comes to group shots, I’ll direct your guests clearly and keep everything running smoothly so everyone knows where they need to be and when — no confusion, no stress, and no endless waiting around.
If you’re worried about being in front of the camera, please don’t be. So many of my couples feel this way, and it’s completely normal. I use gentle guidance (never anything forced or awkward) to help you feel relaxed, comfortable, and completely yourselves — not stiff or unnaturally posed.
My approach is all about keeping things natural. We might just be going for a little walk, sitting together, or having a chat — and before you even realise it… that’s when the magic happens. Those real, in-between moments are what turn into the most beautiful, natural unforgettable images.
No pressure, no awkward posing — just genuine connection, captured in a way that feels effortless and true to you.

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
